DRINK THE RIVER is a video game and installation exploring watery (and weird) re-imaginations of the River Eden in Cumbria. Christopher and Rosa – the team behind the project – open up a space for questions, virtual meet up, and extended community. In this space, they discuss video games as research, âworld-buildingâ and reimagination; the process behind making the game and using open resources; and their (leaky) cross-discipline collaboration.
Rosa Prosser is an artist filmmaker from the Lake District, UK. Her practice seeks to explore human//more-than-human encounters and entanglements through the methodology of âsensory ecological ethnographyâ, a site-specific and embodied approach towards research, communicated predominantly through the medium of moving image. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a BA in the History and Philosophy of Science, going on to undertake an MFA in Creative Documentary by Practice within UCLâs Public Anthropology department.
