IDLE Data Transitions – PIKSEL24

IDLE Data Transitions

IDLE Transitions is a Live Coding Internet of the things performance, it aims to bridge connections between different data flows that are happening in our daily lives. Invisible satellites, consoles, internet protocoles, 3D worlds, sounds and lights are live coded for creating interactions that highlights those connections.

This is a continuation from the IDLE RESIDENCY: Virtual instruments in WebVR, Virtual Reality Worlds, 3D objects, interaction and more. IDLE, Inclusive Digital Laboratory for Experimental Art, is an innovative and inclusive art project based in Bergen, utilizing Studio 207 as a digitally updated art venue. Through the Virtual Gallery, artists and audiences can remotely control the venue’s audiovisual devices via the Internet.
